We'll survey for Yellow-billed cuckoo by splitting into two groups to walk segments of the Agua Fria River that are 2 miles and 5 miles in length. Meet in Phx at 4:30am to carpool and arrive at the sites by dawn. Mostly flat walking at a moderate pace in the sandy, rocky river bottom. Cool shady start, warm by the end. Expect muddy or wet crossings. Finish by ~ 10:30am, return to Phx by noon.
