The Bureau of Land Management's Agua Fria National Monument BioBlitz focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible on the Agua Fria National Monument (AFNM). Scientists, families, students, teachers, and other community members work together to get an overall count of the plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms that live on the Monument. The results of the BioBlitz held on the Monument, along with participating parks and monuments run by the NPS, are shown live on the National Mall in Washington D.C. and can be followed online.
